1) What character from a book would you like most to spend time with and why?

I'd like to spend time with Jade from Guardian Angel. She is gutsy, unafraid of shattering her times norms for women. She is strong and vibrant.

2) What character from a book would you like most to kill and why (and how would you do it)?

A friend of mine has written a book which she is looking into publishing. The character’s name is Sarah. She really deserves to die. She is arrogant, hard, unfeeling and cruel. How would I do it? Slowly with great gusto.

3) What led you to write in the romantic suspense genre?

I love reading romantic suspense. I love trying to figure out who the murderer is, or solving the puzzle the characters face. Hunter's Arrow is a paranormal, but again there is a mystery to be solved, a serial killer to find.

4) Describe your personal writing process.

Writing process? I make things up as I go along. I get ideas for characters and a problem. I know where the story starts and where it ends, but what happens in the middle really depends on what the characters tell me.

5) How do events and experiences from your life influence the settings you choose/create for your novels?

My life is very boring, so I take adventures with my writing. When I want to learn about something, it makes for great research for a new adventure.

6) Besides romantic suspense, what other genres have you written in?

Hunter's Arrow is a paranormal. I have some other books in the works dealing with Hunter and his pack of wolf shifters. These are my first steps outside romantic suspense.

7) In what ways do the people in your life support your writing?

A lot of women complain about being a sports widow, my poor husband is a writing widower. I have an office where I live when the writing bug bites. He doesn't complain, although he did get me wireless DSL and we are looking into getting a new laptop.

8) Some novels have led to sequels. Some have not. Think of one that has not, and tell me why you would be the perfect author to write it.

I am a big fan of Julie Garwood's FBI series. Noah Clayborne has been in most of them. I wish she'd write a book about him instead of having him be a side character.

9) Which character did you most enjoy writing in your latest novel?

Hunter. I've always wondered what if there were people who could change into animal form. The legends had to come from somewhere. What fun would that be? What would it feel like to run through the woods as a wolf, or fly in the air like an eagle? This is as close as I'm ever going to get.

10) What happened in your life that moved you from amateur to professional writer?

I'm an avid reader, always have been. I have been writing since junior high. I often wondered if I was capable of writing a book length story. I did. Wondering if I could get published was a natural extension.
