1.      Tell us about your April release, Notorious.

My book, Notorious, is a historical romance about a woman who is pretending to be someone she is not. She meets a very charismatic man, who decides that he is going to marry her, whether she like it or not.

2.   What inspired you to write Notorious?

I have always been an avid reader and had toyed with the idea of writing a book. One weekend when I was at loose ends I decided to give it a try, and the rest is history.

3.      With so many wonderful books on the market, tell us why your novel is special, what sets it apart from the pack?

Notorious has something for everyone; it has humour, love, murder, suspense plus a great cast of supporting characters.

4.      Will there be a sequel?

I have an idea for a sequel, involving one of the minor characters. It is on the back burner while I am working on my current project.

5.      What message do you want to convey to your readers within your books?

With Notorious, I wanted to convey the importance of being true to yourself, the importance of truth and trust in a relationship. Without those two things, love can’t exist.

6.      What are you working on right now?

I am working on another historical romance about a young woman who ran away from her guardians after her sister’s death, and became a highwayman. She is now ready to find out what happened to her sister.

7.      What puts you in the mood to write? Where do you find your muse?

I am the mother of a three year old and most often I write early in the morning when she is still sleeping or late at night when she has gone to bed. I usually play music while I write, and depending on the scene my choice of music varies. I find I get inspired with ideas either in the shower or when I first wake up in the morning when I am in that spot between dreaming and wakefulness.

8.      Do you have other works published?

Notorious is my first book, so no I have no other works published yet.

9.      Since beginning your writing journey, what has been the most influential happening that has inspired you to keep plugging away?

The most influential happening in my life has been the birth of my daughter. She inspires me to “keep plugging away” because I want to be an example for her, to show her what you can achieve if you are doing something you love to do, and if you never give up.

10.  Tell us one thing about yourself not many people know.

I cry while watching long distance telephone commercials. I don’t know why they make them so sad…
