Alliya – sold at birth to the coven of the dark goddess, Hecate, only a childhood accident spares her from her fate as the ritual Gift during the Dark Rite.  Her spirit and independence earns her the wrath of the High Priestess Magna and causes her to question the vows she is about to take.
