AUTHOR'S BIO: Eden wrote articles for the school newspaper while growing up, but never imagined attempting to write her own book. She had the opportunity to attend college overseas, where she met her husband. After graduation, they started a wholesale bakery. Though the business was successful, Eden felt as if she wasn’t following her heart. One night, she sat down at the computer and started writing a tale that seemed to spring out of a recent family tragedy. After several years of helping her husband with their business, and having three children, she finished her first book, Never Until Tomorrow, which received a 3 Star rating from Romantic Times Magazine. Since then, she hasn’t looked back. Eden has contributed articles to Romantic Times Magazine, and both the Arizona Author’s Association, and RWA Desert Rose Chapter newsletters. Her essay, Persistence, was a finalist in the 2002 Arizona Literary Contest. Yesterday’s Promise is her first paranormal romance, and she hopes her readers enjoy the twists, chills, and everlasting love this story brings to life. Eden lives in Arizona, plotting her next tale with her family, as well as two distinguished elderly cats, a rambunctious sheepdog, and a spoiled Chinese Pug who rules over everyone.
REVIEWS/QUOTES:
"YESTERDAY'S PROMISE is an inventive time travel romance complete with interesting characters, unexpected twists and a happy ending that couldn't be anticipated."--Connie Flynn, best selling author of The Dragon Hour
Readers will find in YESTERDAY'S PROMISE a love story that contains the most fervent desire of many women. It has the alluring dream that a woman will find a worthy man, whom she alone inspires so deeply that he will never be able to forget her. Furthermore, his love for her is so strong that, despite any and all circumstances, it will endure throughout all time. Coupled with that yearning is the strongly romantic idea that soul mates will find each other again and again. It is these two aspects of the story that stroked the romantic in me and made it worthy of my time. Indeed, the appeal of the book, I feel, stands on these notions; for while Alejandro and Christine are likable characters, they are both nevertheless somewhat unremarkable, as are their dialogues and their scenes together. In the future, I may forget the players, but perhaps not the story. This one is for those who like touchingly sweet rather than passionately spicy. -- Sandra Brill
This was definitely an on-the-edge-of-your-seat read. Throw in a couple of unscrupulous characters and you have one tempting read. FSM, (Fran Swann-Mancilla). Rendezvous:I
The action in YESTERDAY'S PROMISE takes off immediately and doesn't stop. Using dreams as flashbacks, the author provides two stories in one. Not only is this a ghost and reincarnation tale, it also disburses history in a painless, fascinating way. ...Fantasy-fans of this type of story should surely give it a look-see. - Susan Mobley, Romantic Times Bookclub
